Yesus Christ at the Encounter of World Religions
This is booki with a two-pronged purpose. In it Jacques Dupuis both articulates Christian conviction about Jesus as the Christ in relation to the reality of other regious traditions and, equally importantly, searches out the wisdom these traditions bring to Christianity.
Although learned and careful in his scholarship, Dupuis writes in a way that makes this book accessible to non- specialists. He utterly transcends narrow, sterile dogmatism, while finding in the christology o the first Ecumenical Councils fresh resources and questions for both Christians and members of other religious faiths.
